Two posts in two days? What can I say, I'm working to even out my abysmally pathetic average. Baby steps.

Anyhoo, I was just looking at my blog title and suddenly remembered what it reminds me of: Gurgi in the The Black Cauldron. Remember him? Or that book? It used to be one of my all-time favorites. I have a very clear memory of discussing the book in my sixth-grade English class, and a chubby boy with glasses who was in my small group was obsessed with how Gurgi always talked about "crunchings and munchings"--which, if you'll note, is rather similar to my title of "Musings and Ventings."
